*Hotfixes

Hotfixes address business-critical issues that typically affect a small number of users and are distributed upon request.  The Support is available after this date but limited to non-software solutions. 
 

 

Technical Support (assistance on technical issues/ manual de-activation) is available for the current version of Artec Studio software plus some previous versions, typically five versions back. To be eligible for support, the Artec Studio software must run on supported Windows OS. If Microsoft discontinues support for an operating system, we also discontinue support for Artec Studio products running on that operating system.

To avoid downtime, upgrade to a supported version before a previous version reaches the end of support. Customers who have a subscription license can continue to use a previously installed and activated version. If you have a perpetual license for a version that has reached the end of support, you still have rights to use the license for as long as you want.

However, for unsupported versions, you can't get a new activation code to reactivate that version for any device issued by the Support Team, de-activation during uninstall is still available. We also will not release software updates or hotfixes for versions that have reached the end of support.
