Issue: In some cases Artec Studio closes immediately after startup, right after the Recover/Dismiss dialog appears (when choosing Dismiss). The application runs for a few seconds and then exits without any error message.
Cause: The behavior is typically caused by missing Qt resource files in the Artec Studio installation directory.
To figure out if this issue is indeed caused by missing Qt resources, browse to the folder "C:\Program Files\Artec\Artec Studio 20 Professional\Resources". The folder should contain another folder called 'Licenses', as well as five files:
In the case these files are missing, use one of the two solutions below:
Solution 1: Download the zip file from this link and extract the five files manually to the folder above
Solution 2: Please reinstall Artec Studio to restore all required components
If both of the solutions above didn't work, or if the files are there and the software still crashes, contact your reseller/Artec 3D support.
In case you experience any issues with your Artec 3D scanner or require technical assistance with your device or Artec Studio, in the first instance please contact your local Artec dealer/distributor directly.
