Corrupted fonts in Artec Studio

Issue: Text is not displayed correctly in Artec Studio UI

 

 

Cause: Issue within the product

 

Workaround: Please try the following steps to temporarily resolve the issue:

1) Run Artec Studio as an Administrator.

2) Switch the operating system locale to English. 

3) Disable Untrusted Font Blocking in Windows 10 (refer to official Microsoft tutorials).

4) Enabling UTF-8 on Windows 

 

Solution: This issue is expected to be resolved in future versions of Artec Studio.

or, you may follow these linear instructions for Windows 11

  1. Hit the Windows Key on the keyboard, and type Group Policy and hit enter.
  2. Navigate to Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Mitigation Options.
  3. Double-click on 'Untrusted Font Blocking', click on the bubble near Disabled. Click Apply. Click OK.
  4. Hit the Windows Key on the keyboard, and type Language and hit enter.
  5. Click on Administrative language settings. Click on Change System Locale.
  6. Check the box for Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support. Click OK. Click Apply. Click OK.
