Welcome to the world of Artec 3D! To get you up and running smoothly, here’s a quick guide to help you create your account, install the software, and activate your scanner(s).
Step 1: Create my.artec3d.com account
Before you dive into scanning (or photogrammetry), you’ll need to create an account on my.artec3d.com This lets you access all required information about scanners, download software, manage (upgrade) licenses.

Go to my.artec3d.com

Click Sign Up (to Create Account).

Fill in your details — name, email, and a secure password.

Confirm your email address by clicking the verification link sent to your inbox.
Step 2: Download and install Artec Software
Pro tip: Make sure your computer meets the system requirements to run Artec Studio smoothly.
- Log in to your account at my.artec3d.com.
- Navigate to the My Software section.
- You can either download and install Artec Installation Center or download the latest version of Artec Studio compatible with your scanner (just a note: Artec Installation Center will be installed automatically with Artec Studio installation).
- Unzip the archive and run the installer (Setup file) and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Step 3: Activate Your Scanner
Now that the software is installed, it’s time to activate your scanner (Artec Eva/ Artec Space Spider/ Artec Spider II, Artec Micro II) and connect it with your account.

Connect your Artec scanner to your computer via USB.

Launch Artec Installation Center (use the same login information as for my.artec3d.com)

Find the scanner under the scanners list and click on "Activate" or "Rent"
- Launch Artec Studio and start the scanning session!
